To my loving mother. I will never lose that special place in my heart knowing you are at peace with the mother and father you so loved. Your command for respect and the dignity you shared with all of us. The stories you gave for all of us to remember in our lives and to be able to share those with our own families will prevail. The joy and laughter will never be forgotten. We must all go forward in our lives but believe in the principles and directions you have given each of us. I have always admired the aura surrounding you. We have each told you in our own way how very much you meant to each of us. I want to say how lucky I have been to be a part of this family...it has truly been a family from day one. I feel more than love and am so very happy you are now at peace. Please save a place for us. Thank you for being you.

My life has been changed forever with your passing Mom. I miss you so much. You were the best Mom anyone could have had. The life lessons you taught me through the years and the unconditional love you gave will never be forgotten. I have such good memories of the times we were able to share as mother and daughter. I know you are in a better place now and I hope you find eternal peace. Save a place for me when my time comes, and in the meantime, I will carry you in my heart forever.

I miss you mom so much. It feels like my heart is in a million pieces and there is no way to fix it. You are forever etched into my heart. Your love, caring, compassion are beyond words. I will never forget your beautiful face, smile, voice or laughter. Especially your touch. You could make all our boo-boos go away with a simple hug or a kiss. What I wouldn't give for one more hug or kiss.
Your life has left an incredible impact on so many and it will last forever. You left us all with so many memories to cherish and store away safely in our hearts.
As a child, I remember always watching you. Sometimes quietly, sometimes not. But always watching. I noticed how strong and independent you were. Way of the military, I guess. You taught me how to be strong, how to raise military kids alone, and how to carry on when husbands where gone. I thank you for that. I thank you for loving us as only a mother could love. Unconditionally.
Fly high mama. My comfort is in knowing you are at peace, and waiting for us one by one, when the time comes. What a joyful day that will be. Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
I love you to heaven and back.

"Little did we know that morning,
That God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone; for a
part of us went with you.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we can not see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing will be the same;
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again."
Grandma, you are so very much loved and will be missed greatly. I can take comfort now knowing you are at peace and with your parents once again. Until we meet again, I'll carry you always in my heart.

It's been a few days now since you've moved on to another place, and I still struggle to find the words to convey how I feel. While you are no longer physically with us, you are and will always be.. with us. In our thoughts, and in our memories. You have had such an incredible impact on all of our families. For me, you taught me respect, to believe in myself and to be kind to others. I clearly remember seeing how you would glow every time we were able to visit, how excited you got every time I drew a picture for you, how you would chase us all around in the back yard, or tell us how we were going to break our necks on the four wheeler. So many years have passed since then, but it seems like yesterday. I wish I could have had more time to visit over the years. I'll always cherish the things you taught me, and the time we did have together, no matter how short that time may have been. But, we all know that even though you're gone now, you'll be waiting for us with open arms when our time comes. Rest easy now, and in peace. Love you always Grandma.

I remember playing hide n seek with you once in your backyard for what seems like all day now. There was Ricky Chris and I Sasha was still a baby. I dont remember where mom n dad were, but grandpa was in the shed playing with car parts. I remember we always wanted you to be "it" because you would let us win, lol. I remember running figure 8's around the clothesline while you were hanging things out. I remember getting in so much trouble over critters I'd bring inside or the birdbath, o man! I remember playing your organ with you and grandpa....I have amazing memories of an amazing woman! Thank you for giving me those, I hold them close to my heart. You were what every kid wants as a grandma and I love you very much. Be at peace now, we shall meet again whether your a friend or a flower.

She was a wonderful person.... I called her Aunt Tootsie not really sure why. Grandma on moms side had a sister that I called Aunt Tootie....I’m really sorry that all the family had to watch her failing health for so long.... it wasn’t easy I know. There is always going to be a hole in your heart that can’t be filled...... I’m really sorry that you had to go thru this.
Love you all
